The article determines the relevance of preventing crisis situations at printing enterprises in the context of increasing economic and technological instability. It is proven that timely identification of financial, production and management risks is a guarantee of maintaining competitiveness and sustainable development in difficult market conditions. Particular attention is paid to the analysis of the key reasons that provoke crisis phenomena, among which management shortcomings, lack of innovation, weak financial stability and unforeseen external factors are highlighted. The substantive content of the concept of a crisis situation at a printing enterprise, which covers financial and economic, production and technological and management and organizational aspects, is substantiated. The article establishes that the crisis is formed gradually, passing through stages from hidden threats to acute symptoms and a culminating phase, which can lead either to decline or to a radical renewal of the enterprise. It is emphasized that anti-crisis management should be aimed not only at reactive overcoming of consequences, but also at preventive risk management, development of development scenarios and systematic diversification of activities. In the process of research, the practical significance of implementing systemic mechanisms for crisis prevention, including financial planning, technical updating, building an effective structure and personnel development, was characterized. It was found that a balanced combination of a plan for equipment modernization and the introduction of modern technologies with strategic communications and diversification of the client base makes it possible to minimize the negative impacts of an unstable environment. Particular emphasis is placed on the role of information security, since digitalization opens up both new prospects and additional risks. Thus, the results of the research made it possible to formulate recommendations for strengthening the anti-crisis potential of printing enterprises, which include the effective use of internal resources, the development of innovative activities and an increase in the level of corporate social responsibility.
