Article requirements

Technical Requirements

  • Article length: 8 to 15 pages, A4 format (297 × 210), Microsoft Word.
  • Margins: left — 20 mm, right — 15 mm, top and bottom — 20 mm.
  • The entire text, reference list, and abstracts: Times New Roman, 12 pt, 1.5 line spacing.
  • Paragraph indent — 1.25 cm.
  • Tables and figures must be compact, numbered and titled, in Times New Roman 12 pt; their width must not exceed the page width.
  • Articles are accepted only when prepared using the template available on the journal's website. The structure and formatting of the template must not be altered.
  • Files must be saved in .docx format.

Metadata

The following must be provided in both Ukrainian and English: article title (up to 15 words); details for each author (full name, academic degree, academic title, place of employment, city, country, e-mail, ORCID); abstract (at least 1800 characters including spaces); keywords (6–12).

An author without an ORCID iD cannot be listed on the article. Registration is free at https://orcid.org

Article Structure

The article must contain the following sections:

Introduction — relevance of the problem; review of recent research and publications (at least 10 sources from the last 5–7 years); identification of the unresolved aspect of the problem; purpose of the article; scientific novelty; practical significance.

Methodology — research methods; data sources; analytical tools; limitations of the study.

Results — factual research findings supported by specific data.

Discussion — interpretation of results; comparison with other studies; scientific novelty and practical significance (in detail).

Conclusions — 3 to 6 conclusions corresponding to the stated purpose, without citation of sources; the final paragraph must outline directions for further research.

References

Two lists are required: Список використаних джерел (in the original language, formatted according to DSTU 8302:2015) and References (transliterated, with titles translated into English, formatted according to APA 7th edition).

  • Minimum number of sources — 15.
  • More than 50% of sources must include a DOI.
  • At least 30% must be foreign sources; at least 50% must be published within the last 5 years.
  • At least half of the sources must be publications indexed in Web of Science Core Collection and/or Scopus.
  • Self-citation — up to 15%; no more than two works by the same author.
  • The list must include only works cited in the text.
  • Sources published in Russian in any country, or in any other language on the territory of russia and belarus, must not be cited.

Submission and Payment

The electronic version of the article should be sent to editor@a-economics.com.ua with the subject line: (Author's surname and initials) Article for Current Issues of Economic Sciences (section).

Articles that do not meet these requirements will not be accepted for peer review or publication without prior correction.

The publication fee is payable after the article has been approved for publication; payment details are sent to the author separately. The publication fee is 800 UAH. If the article exceeds 15 pages, an additional charge of 50 UAH per page applies.

Terms of fee waivers for doctoral (PhD) candidates enrolled under state funding are available on the publication fee page.

No more than one article by the same author (or co-author) may be published in a single issue. Any additional articles are transferred to the following issue.
