Abstract

Abstract: Purpose. The purpose of the study is to substantiate the methodological foundations of strategic planning of innovation and investment activities of an enterprise under conditions of digital transformation of the global economy and increasing environmental turbulence. Methods. The research is based on systemic, process, institutional, integration and synergetic approaches. Methods of comparative analysis, generalization, structuring and logical modeling were applied. The theoretical framework includes contemporary concepts of strategic planning, open innovation, global value chains and data-driven management in the digital economy. Results. It has been demonstrated that strategic planning of innovation and investment activities in the context of digital transformation acquires the characteristics of a continuous, data-driven process. The study substantiates the necessity of combining traditional strategic analysis tools with digital analytical systems and indicators of digital maturity. An approach to integrating innovation and investment decisions within a unified strategic architecture is proposed, taking into account the enterprise’s participation in global value chains, innovation networks and digital ecosystems. The directions for adapting classical strategic planning tools (SWOT, PEST, GAP analysis, portfolio models, Balanced Scorecard) to the digital environment through the use of data analytics and integrated information platforms are systematized. Conclusions. It is substantiated that the methodological foundations of strategic planning of innovation and investment activities should be developed on the basis of an integration-synergetic logic ensuring coherence between innovation goals, investment resources and digital transformation processes. Implementation of the proposed approaches enhances adaptability, competitiveness and long-term performance of enterprises in the conditions of digital transformation of the global economy.
