Abstract

Abstract. The article examines the theoretical and practical aspects of integrating corporate culture and the strategic management system of an enterprise in the context of increasing instability and dynamism of the external environment. It is substantiated that the effective functioning and long-term competitiveness of enterprises largely depend on the alignment of strategic development goals with the values, norms, and behavioral attitudes of the organization. It is proven that corporate culture acts as an important intangible resource of an enterprise, shaping the environment for the implementation of strategic decisions and influencing the effectiveness of managerial processes. The study analyzes modern scientific approaches to the interpretation of the concepts of “corporate culture” and “strategic management” and identifies their interrelationships and intersection points in the formation of an organization’s strategic behavior. The mechanisms of the influence of corporate culture on the process of strategy development and implementation are examined through value-based, behavioral, and institutional dimensions. Scientific approaches to the classification of corporate culture types are systematized, taking into account their relevance to different models of enterprise strategic development. It is established that inconsistency between declared strategic objectives and the actually existing organizational culture may reduce the effectiveness of strategic changes, cause employee resistance, and decrease managerial performance. A conceptual model for integrating corporate culture and strategic management is proposed, based on the principles of integrity, adaptability, and strategic alignment. The study substantiates key instruments for the practical implementation of the integration approach, including organizational cultural audit, strategic mapping of corporate values, and the use of a balanced scorecard system to assess cultural–strategic alignment. The proposed approaches are aimed at improving the effectiveness of strategic management and strengthening the adaptability of enterprises to changes in the business environment. Prospects for further research are related to the development of quantitative methods for assessing the level of integration between corporate culture and strategic management.
