Abstract

Abstract: Introduction. The digital transformation of business and the growing information overload among consumers have created a need for innovative tools to study user behavior. In the context of global competition and a hyper-saturated media environment, traditional marketing methods fail to fully capture the subconscious motives that shape consumer decision-making. Neuromarketing has therefore emerged as a promising approach that integrates neuroscience, psychology, and marketing to analyze human reactions to advertisements, visual content, user experience design, and brand communication. Purpose. The purpose of the study is to identify the possibilities, advantages, and directions for applying neuromarketing technologies in digital marketing – particularly in social media, online advertising, and UX design – to enhance brand–consumer interaction and improve communication personalization. Materials and Methods. The research is based on the theoretical and empirical works of Ukrainian and international scholars, analytical reports by Routledge, Elsevier, and the Nielsen Norman Group, and case studies from leading companies. The study applies comparative analysis, logical generalization, content analysis, and a structural-functional approach to identify patterns of neuromarketing influence on user behavior in digital environments. Results. The essence of neuromarketing is revealed as a method for measuring consumer attention, emotions, memory, and motivation. The study demonstrates that under digital competition, emotional responses are the key determinant of purchase decisions. Modern neuromarketing technologies (EEG, eye-tracking, facial coding, GSR, biometric monitoring) are analyzed and proven to be effective in testing advertisements, UX design, and social media content. It is found that brands applying neuroanalytics at the creative development stage achieve 30-40% higher ad recall. In UX research, the use of neurodata reduces users’ cognitive load and increases conversion rates. Prospects. Future research should focus on integrating neuromarketing with artificial intelligence and machine learning tools to predict consumer reactions in real time, as well as developing ethical standards for collecting and using neural and biometric data. The implementation of neuromarketing in Ukraine’s digital marketing sector offers new prospects for enhancing brand competitiveness and creating emotionally resonant, consumer-centered communication strategies.
