Digital transformation in the enterprise management system: challenges and prospects

Abstract

Abstract. In the context of the digital transformation of the economy, the enterprise management system is undergoing significant changes, which is due to the active introduction of modern digital technologies into management processes. The purpose of the article is to study the challenges and prospects of digital transformation in the enterprise management system in the context of the formation of a sustainable development policy. The research methods include general scientific methods of abstraction, analysis and synthesis. In order to achieve the research objectives, the dialectical method of scientific knowledge was applied in the work. The abstract-logical method of theoretical and factual generalizations was used to formulate conclusions and proposals. The information base of the study was the scientific works of Ukrainian scientists on the topic under consideration, the results of the authors' own research, etc. The results of the study revealed that today the formation of new approaches aimed at determining the theoretical and conceptual aspects of scientifically based recommendations for a well-founded choice of digital technologies that contribute to increasing management efficiency, ensure the efficiency of decision-making and form the prerequisites for the development of adaptive management systems is particularly relevant. The need to develop the transformation of digital management of enterprises is substantiated based on the deepening of the digital transformation of the economy, the growing role of data in making management decisions, and the need to increase the adaptability of enterprises to dynamic changes in the external environment. The scientific understanding of the role of the transformation of digital technologies in the management system of enterprises, which act as a system-forming element of modern management, is deepened. Prospects for the development of digital management of enterprises are proposed based on the integration of information resources, automation of management processes, and the use of intelligent systems to support management decisions. Conclusions. Digital technologies act as a system-forming element of modern management, ensuring the integration of management processes, increasing the validity of management decisions, and the development of adaptive organizational structures, which significantly transforms the traditional functions of management - planning, organization, motivation, coordination, and control, increasing the efficiency of management decisions and the flexibility of enterprises in a dynamic market environment.
