Abstract

Abstract: Modern challenges, primarily driven by military actions, economic turbulence, and global shocks, create an atmosphere of high uncertainty and increased risks, which critically affects the level of investment attractiveness of enterprises in Ukraine. The collapse of traditional business ties, as well as the destabilization of market conditions, financial risks, and limited resource availability, have forced domestic business entities to fundamentally revise their strategies for attracting investment to maintain viability and restore growth potential. In the current context, operational transparency, adaptive management mechanisms, high-quality communication with potential investors, and the use of predictive tools for assessing multi-vector risks are of priority importance. Additionally, emphasis is placed on the fact that investment attractiveness in crisis conditions transforms from a purely financial category into a complex characteristic of enterprise resilience. This requires management not only to monitor current liquidity indicators but also to build long-term trust through compliance with ESG principles and ethical business conduct, which becomes a key criterion for international donors and private investors in the process of economic recovery. The aim of the article is a comprehensive study of the factors that shape the investment attractiveness of Ukrainian enterprises under circumstances of critical risk and high uncertainty, as well as the justification of applied foundations for its strengthening to support sustainable development and increase the competitiveness of entrepreneurial structures in national and global markets. Materials and methods. The fundamental basis of the research consists of the works of leading scientists, analytical reports of international financial institutions, and official statistical data on the dynamics of capital investment in Ukraine. The methodological apparatus is based on a combination of systemic, comparative, functional, and risk-oriented approaches. The application of logical generalization and critical analysis methods allowed for a comprehensive study of the transformation of the investment environment under martial law and macroeconomic destabilization. Results. The study identifies critical barriers to investment development — from the volatility of the regulatory field to the rapid growth of operational and institutional risks against the background of a shortage of qualified personnel and energy challenges. It is proved that traditional models for assessing investment attractiveness require the integration of dynamic parameters that take into account the enterprise's ability for rapid relocation, reorientation of logistics chains, and adaptation to changes in consumer demand. Strategic vectors for increasing investment attractiveness are proposed, including: deep improvement of corporate governance systems, active diversification of funding sources through grant programs and crowdfunding, and total digitalization of business processes. Special attention is paid to the development of modern risk management (Enterprise Risk Management), which allows neutralizing threats at the stage of their emergence. An author's approach to building investment resilience is formed, based on the synergy of strategic planning, flexible adaptive management, and the activation of innovative activity as the main driver of post-war recovery.
