Abstract: the purpose of the study is to identify the impact of intellectual capital on the management of the socio-economic development of large cities in the context of trends in the digitalization of the labour market, European integration and the spread of artificial intelligence. The methods used by the authors in the research process were: theoretical methods, in particular, analysis and synthesis techniques; methods of abstraction and generalization; methods of classification and systematization; methods of deduction and induction. The results of the study were: outlined and specified impact of intellectual capital on the management of the socio-economic development of large cities, generalized trends in the impact of digitalization of the labor market on the management of modern cities, formalized assumptions and recommendations on the use of artificial intelligence capabilities to form strategic intellectual potential in order to bring the level of development of Ukrainian cities closer to European standards of living on the path to Ukraine's integration into the EU. Conclusions. It has been established that the use of intellectual capital in the management of a large city provides government institutions with tools to increase its competitiveness at the national and European levels, ensuring the transition to a human-centered and socially oriented model of urban planning. For the effective transformation of Ukrainian cities into smart cities that are attractive for life, in order to strengthen the tendencies towards European integration, it is advisable to introduce AI in municipal administration for modelling city development scenarios, analysing big data when making management decisions, automating the processes of providing important administrative and social services for the population, and communication between government bodies and the population. The large-scale use of digital technologies combined with the adaptation of European experience in environmental management, industrial symbiosis, and sustainable energy in the management of large cities will ensure that the guidelines for their socio-economic development comply with European values and standards, transforming them into safe, highly functional, and comfortable centres for the life and professional development of residents, regardless of age, gender, or physical characteristics.Downloads
