Abstract

Abstract. The article examines the role of digital monitoring tools in the project management system in the context of the digital transformation of management processes. The purpose of the study is to generalize the theoretical foundations of the functioning of the project management system and to determine the role of digital monitoring tools in improving the efficiency of project management activities. The methodological basis of the research is formed by general scientific and special methods, in particular the methods of analysis, generalization, systematization and comparison, which made it possible to study the features of the use of digital tools in the process of project management and monitoring of project implementation. The article substantiates that the modern development of the economy, increasing competition and the need to implement innovative projects determine the growing importance of the project approach in the management system of organizations. It is determined that the project management system includes a set of interrelated processes, methods and tools aimed at the effective implementation of projects within defined time, resource and quality constraints. The results of the study show that monitoring is an important element of the project management system, as it ensures continuous control over the implementation of projects, timely identification of deviations from planned indicators and improvement of managerial decision-making efficiency. It has been established that in the conditions of the digitalization of the economy, the project monitoring system is increasingly integrated with modern digital technologies and project management software platforms. It is proved that the use of such digital tools as Microsoft Project, Trello, Asana, Jira, Monday.com and Power BI contributes to increasing the transparency of management processes, improving the efficiency of information processing and strengthening the coordination of project teams. The conclusions are that the integration of digital tools into the monitoring system of project management creates prerequisites for improving the efficiency of project management, optimizing the use of resources and ensuring transparency in project implementation. The use of modern digital platforms makes it possible to improve analytical support for project management and increase the quality of managerial decision-making. Prospects for further research are related to the development of digital project management platforms and the use of analytical technologies in project monitoring systems.
