Abstract

Abstract. The organizational isolation of the sectors of the agro-industrial complex requires organizational and technological coordination of their activities with the development of integration and the creation of effective integrated structures. One of the ways to improve agricultural production is the development of integration processes in the agro-industrial complex. The purpose of the article is to study the features of integration processes in the agri-food sector in the context of social security and employment of the population and their effective development in the conditions of scientific and technical cooperation. The research methods include general scientific methods of abstraction, analysis and synthesis. In order to achieve the research objectives, the dialectical method of scientific cognition was applied in the work. The abstract-logical method of theoretical and factual generalizations was used to formulate conclusions and proposals. The information base of the study was the scientific works of Ukrainian scientists on the topic under consideration, the results of the authors' own research, etc. The results of the study revealed that agri-food integration is a process of uniting independent units into a single technological complex, which is based on the convergence of interests and strengthening economic ties between organizations, ensuring profit maximization, using the concentration of material and financial resources and aimed at increasing competitiveness, expanding markets for food, agricultural products and raw materials, and increasing production efficiency. Scientific approaches have been developed to study the theoretical and conceptual aspects of the development of integration processes in the agri-food sector in the context of social security and employment for the effective development of integrated relations between enterprises and organizations of an agricultural enterprise that meet market requirements. The main options for the development of agri-food integration by ensuring the physical and economic availability of products, strengthening food security, improving innovation processes and social development of rural areas have been developed and substantiated. The main aspects of agri-food integration are proposed, which contribute to the modernization of production, the growth of labor productivity, the development of agro-logistics, the creation of jobs, the development of rural areas and the growth of incomes of the population. Conclusions. The development of integration in the agri-food sector plays an important role in the economy. Cooperation between agricultural producers and participants in the agricultural sector allows concentrating resources and creating effective business structures. The introduction of integrated structures contributes to an increase in production volumes and a reduction in transaction costs.
