Abstract

Abstract. In modern economic conditions, planning is not just a management function, but a strategic tool that ensures sustainable development and competitiveness of the enterprise. A scientific understanding of the planning process allows us to consider it as a mechanism for coordinating the interests of various structural divisions, which is the basis for effective resource allocation and increasing the adaptability of the enterprise to dynamic changes in market conditions. The purpose of the article is to study the features of strategic planning in the context of global economic transformation. The research methods include general scientific methods of abstraction, analysis and synthesis. In order to achieve the research objectives, the dialectical method of scientific knowledge was applied in the work. The abstract-logical method of theoretical and factual generalizations was used to formulate conclusions and proposals. The information base of the study was the scientific works of Ukrainian scientists on the topic under consideration, the results of the authors' own research, etc. The results of the study revealed that strategic planning allows an enterprise not only to produce products and provide services, the need for which is determined by forecasting and assessing consumer demand, but also to identify and provide the necessary resources and create the necessary conditions for their long-term implementation. Scientific approaches to studying the theoretical and conceptual aspects of the development of strategic planning in the context of global economic transformation have been developed. The main methods and stages of strategic planning focused on the development, growth and ensuring the economic security of enterprises in a competitive environment and the definition of long-term goals that determine the general direction of their socio-economic development have been developed and substantiated. The main criteria, interrelated functions and objectives of strategic planning have been proposed, which increase the predictability of results and reduce the risks associated with environmental uncertainty. Conclusions. Planning becomes the basis of the strategic sustainability of an enterprise, as it ensures a balance of goals and resources, flexibility and continuity of activity, which ultimately creates competitive advantages and contributes to the long-term strengthening of the organization's market position.
