Abstract

Abstract. The article comprehensively examines the theoretical and applied aspects of building economic resilience of enterprises under conditions of extreme uncertainty, exacerbated by military operations, disruption of global supply chains, energy crises, and macroeconomic instability. It is substantiated that systematic risk management serves as a fundamental prerequisite for ensuring enterprise sustainability, as it enables timely identification of threats, assessment of their impact, and formulation of adaptive managerial decisions. Based on the analysis of the operational practices of Ukrainian enterprises during the full-scale war, it is established that the key instruments for enhancing resilience include diversification of business activities and markets (notably the examples of ONUR Group and pharmaceutical companies), digital transformation of business processes (as in the cases of Rozetka, Monobank, Epicentr), implementation of scenario planning to respond to various development trajectories (Kyivstar, Promodo), as well as flexible resource and logistics management. It is demonstrated that crisis management and restructuring of operational models (Nova Poshta, Ajax Systems, OKKO) ensure the recovery of operations and formation of new competitive advantages. Particular attention is given to building organizational resilience through human capital development, implementation of distributed work models, and ensuring business continuity, as well as to supply chain resilience management through diversification of logistics routes and creation of buffer stocks (MHP, Kernel). Special focus in the study is placed on counterparty selection as a critically important element of risk management. It is established that under conditions of uncertainty, this process acquires a strategic character and requires consideration not only of the financial reliability of partners but also of their logistics resilience, geographical diversification, and adaptability to crises.
