Conceptual model of business process management in distributed project teams of information and communication technology enterprises

Relevance of the study is determined by the intensification of digital transformation and the widespread adoption of distributed work formats, which necessitate the improvement of business process management approaches in information and communication technology enterprises. Under such conditions, ensuring integrity, transparency, and coordination of processes in distributed teams becomes more complex due to process fragmentation, asynchronous interaction, and insufficient integration of digital systems, which limits management efficiency.
The purpose of the article is to substantiate approaches to improving the efficiency of business process management in distributed project teams of information and communication technology enterprises based on the integration of the process approach, digital tools, and data analytics through the development and justification of a conceptual model.
Research methods. The study applies methods of system analysis, generalization and systematization of scientific approaches, comparative analysis of modern management models, as well as analytical methods to investigate organizational and technological coordination mechanisms in distributed teams.
Results. The evolution of business process management approaches in the digital environment has been investigated and their transformation towards integrated, flexible, and data-driven models has been established. Key organizational and technological coordination mechanisms in distributed teams have been identified. It has been proven that management efficiency depends on the level of integration of process architecture, digital infrastructure, and analytical support. The main scientific and practical problems have been identified, including process fragmentation, information dispersion, asynchronous interaction, and limited data-driven decision-making. A conceptual model integrating process, platform, and analytical approaches has been substantiated.
Conclusions. It has been proven that the implementation of an integrated business process management model ensures increased transparency, coordination, and adaptability of distributed project teams, contributes to reducing coordination transaction costs, and enables a transition to proactive management.
Prospects for further research are related to the development of quantitative models for evaluating business process management efficiency, the application of process mining and artificial intelligence methods, and the study of the impact of digital maturity and behavioral factors on the performance of distributed teams.
