Abstract

Abstract. The relevance of this study is determined by contemporary realities and is aimed at examining the specific features of the transformation of trade supply chains in Ukraine under martial law. The purpose of the article is to provide a comprehensive analysis of the transformation of trade supply chains in Ukraine, to examine their structural changes, and to identify the key challenges and prospects for the development of logistics management under wartime conditions. The study employs a combination of general scientific and specialized research methods to ensure a comprehensive analysis of the subject matter. In particular, the system-analytical method is used for the theoretical generalization of scientific concepts of logistics management and supply chain functioning; the structural-logical method is applied for the systematization of trade supply chains; and the statistical analysis method is used to assess the dynamics of freight transportation and changes in Ukraine’s transport structure. The article analyzes the essence of logistics management in the context of global challenges arising from the disruption of traditional logistics routes following the onset of the full-scale war in 2022. The stages of trade supply chains are described, with particular attention to the efficiency of coordination among participants, logistics speed, and inventory management. The impact of martial law on the structural transformation of trade supply chains is examined, including the development of new logistics routes, the implementation of digital technologies, and integration with European transport systems. It is substantiated that effective logistics management under such conditions is a key factor in ensuring economic resilience and national recovery. The paper also considers supply chain management models under risk conditions, which enable enterprises to respond effectively to crisis situations and minimize logistics risks. The necessity of implementing modern approaches to logistics process management aimed at enhancing economic resilience and ensuring the continuity of supply is justified. The results of the study may be used to improve enterprise logistics management systems, develop effective models for managing trade supply chains, and enhance the competitiveness of Ukraine’s economy in the context of contemporary challenges. Conclusions. Thus, martial law has posed a significant challenge to Ukraine’s logistics system, necessitating the transformation of traditional trade routes, the search for alternative transportation pathways, and the implementation of new management approaches.
