Abstract

The purpose of the study is to conduct a comprehensive analysis of the impact of innovation and digital transformation on the business processes of large corporations in the context of international management. The study is aimed at identifying key trends and challenges faced by modern companies in adapting to the digital era, as well as developing recommendations for the effective implementation of innovative technologies to increase competitiveness in the global market.

The methodological basis of the study is based on an integrated approach, including system analysis and comparative method. The study analysed 200 scientific publications and reports of leading analytical agencies, as well as statistical data on the introduction of digital technologies in the corporate sector over the past 5 years.

The study revealed a number of key trends in the digital transformation of international business: 1) acceleration of digitalisation of business processes due to the COVID-19 pandemic, which led to a 35% increase in investments in digital technologies compared to the pre-pandemic period; 2) the growing role of artificial intelligence and machine learning in optimising operations, which reduced operating costs by 15-20% in companies that actively implement these technologies; 3) the increasing importance of big data analysis for strategic decision-making, which led to the creation of separate data science units in 78% of the surveyed corporations; 4) transformation of organisational

The findings of the study show that successful digital transformation requires a comprehensive approach that includes not only the introduction of new technologies, but also a change in corporate culture, the development of digital competencies of staff and the restructuring of business models. Based on the analysis, a number of recommendations for international corporations have been developed: 1) establishing specialised digitalisation units and appointing a Chief Digital Officer; 2) investing in the development of employees' digital skills, including retraining and continuous training programmes; 3) implementing project management methodologies and cross-functional teams; 4) strengthening cybersecurity and introducing a culture of data-driven decision-making.
