Abstract

Sustainable development is one of the key concepts of modern society aimed at ensuring the harmonious coexistence of economic growth, social welfare and environmental protection. In this context, organic production plays an important role, as its principles are in line with the basic principles of sustainable development. Against the backdrop of growing global environmental problems, such as climate change, soil degradation and water pollution, organic production is becoming a promising alternative to conventional farming methods. It helps to preserve natural resources, increase soil fertility and reduce the negative impact of agriculture on ecosystems. In addition, organic products are in increasing demand among consumers, making this sector important for economic development.

The purpose of the study is to determine the place of organic production in achieving sustainable development goals, in particular its impact on environmental sustainability, economic efficiency and social responsibility.

To achieve this goal, an interdisciplinary approach was used, including the analysis of scientific publications, statistical data and practical experience in the implementation of organic production. The research methodology is based on comparative analysis, systematic approach and modeling of potential development scenarios.

Organic production has significant potential to contribute to the achievement of sustainable development goals. It is an important component of sustainable development that combines economic interests with social responsibility and environmental safety.
