Abstract

 

The article examines the opportunities, risks, and development prospects of artificial intelligence in the management system of modern organizations under the conditions of the digital transformation of the economy, the rapid advancement of digital technologies, increasing global competition, and growing uncertainty in the external environment. A theoretical generalization of contemporary scientific approaches to defining the essence of artificial intelligence and the specific features of its application in management activities is provided. The evolution of intelligent technologies within management systems is analyzed, and their role in transforming managerial processes and improving the operational efficiency of modern organizations is identified. The concept of «artificial intelligence in the management system of an organization» is refined and interpreted as a comprehensive set of digital technologies, algorithms, and data-processing models integrated into managerial activities to automate business processes, provide information and analytical support for managerial decision-making, forecast changes in the internal and external organizational environment, and optimize the utilization of organizational resources. The principal areas of artificial intelligence application in management systems are systematized, including the automation of operational activities, big data analytics, market trend forecasting, human resource management, logistics optimization, customer relationship management, strategic planning support, and risk management.

Particular attention is paid to the fact that the application of artificial intelligence facilitates the integration of information flows, enhances the quality of managerial decision-making, reduces information-processing time, improves control mechanisms, develops employees' digital competencies, and strengthens organizational adaptability to dynamic environmental changes. It is substantiated that the implementation of intelligent technologies contributes to increased labor productivity, more efficient utilization of material, financial, and information resources, improved coordination of managerial processes, and the creation of new competitive advantages. At the same time, the key risks associated with the use of artificial intelligence are systematized, including information security issues, personal data protection, algorithmic bias, insufficient transparency of intelligent systems, ethical challenges related to the use of digital technologies, cybersecurity threats, as well as the need to adapt organizational structures and enhance the digital competencies of managerial personnel. A conceptual approach to integrating artificial intelligence into the management system of modern organizations is proposed, based on the combination of technological innovation, strategic management, the principles of the responsible use of digital technologies, continuous personnel development, and effective digital risk management.

The study establishes that the effectiveness of artificial intelligence implementation is determined by the degree of its integration into the management system, the quality of information and analytical support, the organization's readiness for digital transformation, the effectiveness of change management mechanisms, and the ability to maintain a balance between the automation of managerial processes and the professional expertise of managers. The practical significance of the research findings lies in the possibility of applying the proposed theoretical provisions and conceptual approaches to the development of digital transformation strategies, the improvement of management systems, the formulation of artificial intelligence implementation policies, the minimization of digital risks, and the promotion of the long-term innovative development of modern organizations.
