Offshore insurance as a tool for global financial planning

In modern conditions, the need for a deep analysis of offshore insurance as a financial planning tool in the context of modern global economic conditions is of particular relevance. Offshore insurance is gaining increasing popularity among insurers and policyholders due to its ability to optimize tax expenses, reduce financial risks and provide flexibility in financial planning. In this regard, the study of offshore insurance allows not only to understand its essence and role in global financial strategies, but also to identify possible advantages and risks that arise when using it. The purpose of the study is to form a holistic theoretical and practical approach to offshore insurance as a tool of global financial planning by clarifying its essence, functions, principles, assessing effectiveness and substantiating directions for further development. To achieve the goal, the following methods of scientific research were used: analysis and synthesis - to study and generalize theoretical approaches to offshore insurance; induction and deduction - to consider the functions, principles and differences of traditional and offshore insurance; SWOT analysis – to systematize the advantages, weaknesses, opportunities and threats that arise when using offshore insurance for insurance companies and clients, to identify its effectiveness as a tool for international financial planning. The methods used provide a comprehensive approach to achieving the research goal and solving the tasks set and to formulate scientifically based conclusions regarding the role of offshore insurance in modern global financial planning. The proposed author's definition, specific functions and principles and the analysis of the differences between traditional and offshore insurance create a theoretical basis for the development of further practical recommendations for the development of offshore insurance business. SWOT analysis and identified prospects for further development make it possible to predict future trends in the offshore insurance market, which makes this study important for the formation of effective financial strategies at the international level.
