The impact of global digital processes on the world economy

Abstract

The relevance of this study is driven by the dynamic development of the innovation component across all sectors of the global economy. The paper emphasizes the importance of implementing fundamental innovations that contribute to the transformation of traditional sectors of the real economy and lay the foundation for new opportunities for growth and the advancement of global digital processes.

The aim of the article is to identify the key drivers of digitalization processes in the global economy. The study examines the main trends in economic digitalization and reveals that the digital transformation of enterprises enhances competitiveness, elevating competition to a new level. The paper analyzes the development trends and scale of the digital economy in Ukraine and the world's largest economies. Key digital trends shaping the future of this type of economy are summarized. The study identifies the main barriers to the adoption of digital technologies by domestic enterprises, including low business culture, lack of capital, and the high cost of qualified personnel. The features of the digital economy are explored, along with the factors influencing economic processes, as well as the advantages and challenges of digitalization.

The research is based on an analytical review of contemporary scientific studies and publications, as well as an overview of international experiences in implementing innovative digital business processes in the economic practices of various countries.

The study's findings indicate that Ukrainian enterprises do not fully leverage the potential of modern technologies in digitalization processes, which reduces their efficiency in the face of global challenges.

The conclusions highlight the importance of applying innovative approaches to the implementation of digital platforms to enhance economic efficiency, competitiveness, and enterprise potential while ensuring adaptability to global changes.

Future research perspectives include analyzing the use of artificial intelligence and big data to determine further development prospects for global digital technologies within the framework of international digitalization programs.
