Abstract

The article discusses the crucial role of digital transformation in modern agricultural management. The relevance of the topic is driven by the increasing impact of climate change, resource scarcity and growing demand for food production. The integration of innovative technologies, such as drones, the Internet of Things, blockchain and automated systems, has significant potential to optimise production processes, reduce costs and increase productivity.

The purpose of the study is to assess the impact of innovative technologies on the efficiency of agricultural management in the context of sustainable development.

The study results point to numerous benefits of implementing digital solutions in agriculture. In particular, IoT sensors provide real-time monitoring of soil and climatic conditions, which makes it possible to reduce water and fertilizer use by 20%. In addition, drones with modern imaging technologies facilitate the use of precision farming practices, which increase yields by 20% and reduce the use of pesticides by 30%. The use of blockchain technology significantly increases the transparency of supply chains, reduces food waste, and improves logistics processes.

The conclusions highlight the transformational potential of these innovations in ensuring the sustainable development of the agricultural sector. At the same time, a number of challenges have been identified, including financial constraints for small farms, difficulties in accessing modern technologies, and the need to standardize data use practices. Strategic recommendations are proposed to overcome these barriers, including the integration of digital tools such as GPS, artificial intelligence, and blockchain to enhance the sustainability and competitiveness of the agricultural sector.

It is emphasised that the prospects for further research lie in a thorough analysis of specific digital tools and their impact on various areas of the agricultural sector in order to develop practical recommendations for their integration into production processes.
