The article discusses the basic principles and approaches to evaluation based on the analysis of quantitative and qualitative indicators of enterprise performance. The emphasis is placed on the adaptation of mathematical statistics methods, such as correlation, regression and factor analysis, to the needs of management analysis in the construction industry. The advantages of using statistical methods to determine the key factors that affect the efficiency of resource use, competitiveness and sustainability of an enterprise are presented. The purpose of the article is to develop the theoretical foundations and improve approaches to the use of statistical methods for diagnosing the potential of a construction enterprise. This involves the following tasks: theoretical analysis of the structure of the potential of a construction enterprise, analysis of existing methods for its assessment using statistical tools; development of methodological foundations for integrating statistical methods into the process of assessing the resource, organizational, economic and other components of potential; development of practical recommendations for improving the accuracy and efficiency of diagnosing the potential of construction enterprises.
The theoretical and methodological basis of the study is the scientific work of scientists on the use of statistical methods in diagnosing the potential of a construction company. To achieve the goal and solve the tasks, the following research methods were used: classical methods (comparison, analysis, synthesis, grouping, abstraction and generalization, description, characterization, distinction) allowed to clarify the conceptual and categorical apparatus, classify the components of the potential of a construction enterprise and determine their content, analyze the methods of diagnosis and analysis of the components of the potential of a construction enterprise, and formulate practical recommendations to improve the accuracy and efficiency of diagnostics.
The article considers the theoretical aspects of adapting statistical methods in diagnosing the potential of an enterprise to the needs of management analysis in the construction industry. The use of these methods allows to identify key factors that affect the efficiency of enterprises, optimize the use of resources and facilitate the adoption of sound management decisions. The results of the study can serve as a basis for further practical development and implementation of statistical tools in the activities of construction enterprises.
