Abstract

Ensuring integrity in sourcing finance is important in maintaining transparency, accountability and trust in financial systems. In the context of increasing financial complexity and globalisation of investments, the risks of corruption, fraud and unethical financial practices pose significant challenges to businesses, financial institutions and regulators. The relevance of this study is driven by the growing need to develop and implement strategies that promote ethical and transparent management of financial resources. Financial integrity is essential for attracting sustainable investment, promoting economic growth, and ensuring compliance with international legal and ethical standards.

The study aims to analyse and propose practical strategies for maintaining integrity in fundraising processes.

Methods: analysis of scientific literature, abstraction, generalisation, systematisation.

The results of the study show that financial integrity can be effectively ensured through a combination of legal norms, risk management systems and technological progress. Adoption of environmental, social and governance (ESG) standards, corporate social responsibility initiatives and compliance mechanisms significantly increase the credibility of financial institutions. In contrast, introducing digital monitoring tools and real-time financial transaction tracking systems improves the detection and prevention of financial irregularities. Organisations prioritising transparency of financial reporting, stakeholder engagement and compliance with anti-corruption measures are more successful in attracting reliable and ethical funding sources.

Conclusions. Thus, ensuring integrity in financing processes requires a multidimensional approach that includes regulatory measures, improved corporate governance, and technological innovations. The study highlights the importance of aligning financial practices with ethical standards and international norms. Strengthening integrity in financial activities not only reduces the risks associated with corruption and fraud but also promotes sustainable investment and economic stability.
