The current socioeconomic transformation of society is a complex and multifaceted process that covers various changes in various spheres of life. An important aspect of this transformation is digital diversification, which involves using digital technologies to develop new products, services, and business models. Given the rapid development of technology, digital diversification is becoming a key success factor for business entities, as it allows them to adapt to market changes and remain competitive. Equally important is the search for an optimal business development model. In an environment of instability and high competition, companies must constantly look for new ways to grow and develop. An effective development model should take into account the specifics of the company's activities, its resources and capabilities, and external factors such as changes in legislation, the economic situation, and consumer needs. The transformation processes in society result from the reform of socioeconomic activity. These processes cover the country's national and regional levels and affect all spheres of society. In the face of military challenges, such as those currently facing Ukraine, a survival strategy is critical to ensuring sustainability. Business entities' behavior plays a unique role in socioeconomic transformation processes, and transformation belongs to the behavior of business entities. The success or failure of transformation processes depends on their decisions and actions. In the context of systemic threats to the life and health of citizens caused by war, economic decision-making is often influenced by emotions and stress, which can lead to irrational and unreasonable actions. In this regard, applying behavioral economics approaches is extremely important to identify the relationship and interdependence between socioeconomic transformation and decision-making behavior in times of instability and risk. Research in behavioral economics helps to understand how people make decisions under stress and uncertainty and to develop effective strategies to support the rational behavior of business entities in times of crisis.
