The place and role of state regulation in forming the energy efficiency strategy of renewable energy enterprises

Abstract

The purpose of this article is to substantiate the key role of state regulatory bodies in the formation of an effective energy-efficient strategy of renewable energy enterprises in the context of economic and security challenges. The article substantiates the importance of state regulation as a key tool for the formation of an energy-efficient strategy of renewable energy enterprises. The main challenges and threats that determine the need for active state influence on the processes of increasing energy efficiency are identified, in particular in the context of climate change, energy dependence, military risks and the need to strengthen the security potential of the state. It is proven that renewable energy enterprises are not able to independently implement a systemic resource-saving strategy without regulatory, financial and organizational support from state regulatory bodies. In the process of research, four key essential principles for the formation of an energy-efficient strategy are characterized: technological innovation, systematic planning, integration into corporate governance and ensuring economic efficiency and security potential. It is established that state regulation is implemented through the main mechanisms: regulatory framework, financial and institutional support, monitoring system and strategic coordination. It is also proven that effective regulatory intervention leads to increased sustainability of enterprises, increased innovation, strengthening energy security and expanding the security potential of the state as a whole. The relationship between state policy and market behavior of energy efficiency strategy subjects is characterized. The conclusions emphasize that only harmonious interaction between the state and enterprises allows ensuring long-term stability and efficiency of the energy sector. The results obtained can be used to improve state policy in the field of energy security and the implementation of the "green transition".
