Abstract

The article examines the conceptual foundations of forming a comprehensive system of financial and economic security of business entities in the context of modern business environment challenges. The essence of a comprehensive system of financial and economic security is substantiated as an integral, structured set of interconnected elements aimed at protecting the financial and economic interests of the enterprise, ensuring its financial stability and sustainable development. The key structural components of the financial and economic security system are identified: financial, information-analytical, organizational-managerial, personnel, technical-technological, marketing-sales, and digital subsystems. For each component, the content, implementation mechanisms, and evaluation indicators are systematized. A structural-functional model of a comprehensive financial and economic security system is proposed, which includes blocks for threat identification and assessment, strategic security planning, organization and coordination, implementation of protective measures, control and monitoring, adjustment, and adaptation. Methodological tools for evaluating the effectiveness of the security system based on an integral approach using partial and integral security indices have been developed. A SWOT analysis of the proposed system was conducted, which allowed identifying its strengths and weaknesses, opportunities and threats, as well as determining strategic directions for development. It is substantiated that the implementation of a comprehensive system of financial and economic security requires the development and implementation of appropriate organizational and economic mechanisms covering organizational, economic, motivational, informational, and technological aspects. The research results create a theoretical and methodological basis for forming an effective system of financial and economic security for business entities across different sectors of the economy, which will contribute to increasing their resilience and competitiveness in conditions of dynamic changes in the business environment.
