Abstract

The purpose of this study is to substantiate the methodological foundations for ensuring enterprise resilience in the context of digital transformation, identify key factors affecting their adaptability, and develop approaches to assessing the level of digital resilience in business. The need for such research arises from the fact that traditional models of resilience, focused on financial stability and market positioning, are losing their effectiveness in the digital economy. Digital transformation introduces new challenges and threats related to technological uncertainty, cybersecurity risks, rapid changes, and the necessity for enterprises to respond promptly to evolving business conditions.

This study applies a systematic approach, which allows enterprise resilience to be examined as a multidimensional phenomenon combining economic, managerial, technological, and organizational components. A comparative analysis is used to juxtapose traditional and modern methods for assessing resilience, while a structural-functional approach helps determine the interconnections between an enterprise’s digital adaptability and its ability to withstand external challenges. The research also involves an analysis of digital indicators used in international practice, with recommendations for their adaptation to Ukrainian enterprises.

The findings confirm that digital transformation is not only a challenge but also an opportunity to strengthen business resilience. Enterprises that integrate digital technologies demonstrate higher levels of adaptability, efficiency, and competitiveness. A framework for assessing digital resilience is proposed, including factors such as the level of business process automation, data management efficiency, digital platform integration, and cybersecurity maturity. The study outlines methodological foundations for analyzing and forecasting digital risks, enabling enterprises to develop strategies to mitigate them. Furthermore, an analysis of global practices in digital resilience formation has been conducted, with recommendations for adapting these approaches to the Ukrainian economic environment.

The conclusions emphasize the need for a transformation in approaches to enterprise resilience management. It is established that strategic digital adaptation requires a combination of innovative technologies, organizational flexibility, and efficient digital asset management. Further research should focus on developing practical models for assessing digital resilience and identifying the most effective tools for ensuring the long-term sustainability of businesses in a rapidly evolving digital environment.
