Abstract. The purpose of the article is to substantiate the need to take social inequality into account when hiring personnel and to develop recommendations for overcoming it. The object of the study is the process of personnel selection at the enterprise, which is formed under the influence of economic, social and cultural factors. The article is devoted to a comprehensive analysis of the impact of social inequality on the process of personnel recruitment. Social inequality, caused by economic, cultural and political factors, significantly limits applicants' access to education and professional opportunities, thereby determining their starting conditions on the labor market. The paper highlights the main principles that reveal the essence and content of social inequality at the enterprise, and also outlines the factors that stimulate its strengthening during personnel selection. Based on these conclusions, key directions are formulated aimed at overcoming discriminatory barriers and ensuring equal conditions for all applicants. Considerable attention is paid to justifying the importance of transparent selection rules and the need to implement a system of control over hiring procedures. One of the priority approaches is the development of retraining and training programs for individuals who did not have proper opportunities due to low socio-economic status. The article emphasizes the importance of forming a corporate culture of equality, which involves the rejection of stereotypes and respect for diversity. For the effective implementation of these measures, it is proposed to involve independent experts and conduct an audit of personnel policy in order to identify hidden forms of discrimination. The practical value of the study lies in identifying mechanisms that can reduce the negative impact of social gaps on the formation of high-quality personnel potential. At the same time, the theoretical significance of the work is manifested in revealing the relationships between social, economic and cultural conditions that affect the hiring process. The proposed recommendations are aimed at increasing the competitiveness of the enterprise by attracting a wider range of highly qualified specialists and creating an inclusive working environment.
