Research on the potential of the digital financial space for the sustainable development of the economy of Ukraine

Abstract

The purpose of the study is to analyze and assess the role of digital financial technologies in strengthening economic stability and stimulating growth. The main focus is on identifying the challenges faced by traditional financial systems and studying innovative digital solutions that contribute to increasing financial inclusion, transparency, and efficiency of the country’s financial sector.

In order to achieve this goal, the study used a number of scientific methods, among which special attention was paid to a critical review of scientific sources. The tabular method was used to organize and visualize the data.

The results demonstrate that the integration of digital solutions, such as mobile payments, digital wallets, and blockchain technology, helps to speed up financial transactions, reduce transaction costs, and strengthen financial accountability. The author emphasizes the importance of implementing financial systems based on artificial intelligence, blockchain solutions for transaction security, and cloud platforms for remote financial management. At the same time, the main factors that complicate the process of digital transformation are identified, including resistance to innovation, insufficient digital competence, and growing cybersecurity risks.

The conclusions emphasize that digital financial technologies play an important role in the sustainable development of Ukraine’s economy. To accelerate the digital transition, companies need to invest in staff development, introduce scalable financial instruments, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Policymakers and financial institutions should create an enabling environment by developing incentive mechanisms, improving the regulatory framework, and expanding access to digital infrastructure.

Prospects for further research include assessing the impact of digital finance on the country’s economic development, as well as studying the peculiarities of implementing innovative methodological approaches that will increase the efficiency and security of financial systems.
