The methodology of scientific research in management is the cornerstone of the effective functioning of modern organizations and socio-economic systems. In the context of accelerated global transformations, there is a growing need to use sound approaches that allow for an objective assessment of management decisions, develop competitive strategies, and identify ways to strengthen security potential. The use of systemic, process, situational, and innovation-oriented approaches makes it possible to integrate various aspects of activity, identify relationships between structural elements, and adapt to changes in the external environment. The article substantiates the importance of forming new models of teaching management, where the emphasis shifts from passive perception of theoretical material to active acquisition of research skills. Attention is paid to the implementation of interdisciplinary methods, real cases, and innovative technologies that reflect modern challenges and opportunities. Special emphasis is placed on taking into account ethical and security aspects that determine the long-term sustainability of organizations in a turbulent environment. Four directions for improving the teaching of management as a scientific and practical subject are outlined, namely: the introduction of an interdisciplinary approach, an orientation towards practical research, the use of innovative technologies and consideration of ethical and security factors. The presence of these elements in the methodological arsenal makes it possible to form competent specialists who are able to navigate complex socio-economic systems. It is proven that it is the methodology of scientific research in management that provides a theoretical and applied foundation for decision-making, contributes to the formation of effective management practices and creates the prerequisites for the sustainable development of organizations. Thanks to systemic analysis, innovations and taking into account the specifics of specific situations, management becomes a tool for achieving long-term goals and maintaining competitive advantages.
