Introduction. Modern HR management models must adapt to digital transformation, ensuring a balance between technological capabilities and personnel needs while considering global and national trends. Today, HR management in Ukraine is rapidly transforming, adapting to contemporary challenges. The key trends in national HR management include digitalization, flexibility, talent management, and adaptation to crisis conditions. We believe that the future of national HR management depends on the ability of economic entities to implement innovative approaches and create favorable conditions for personnel development. Therefore, analyzing global and national trends in the impact of economy and society virtualization on the formation of modern HR management models is highly relevant and requires research.
Objective. The purpose of this article is to analyze global and national trends in the impact of economy and society virtualization on the formation of modern HR management models, highlighting its relevance and the need for further study.
Results. The key directions, processes, and consequences of the virtualization of the economy and society at both global and national levels have been analyzed. These include e-commerce, e-banking, e-government, e-business, artificial intelligence, blockchain, and other areas of the digital economy. The research has shown that by 2022 and after the onset of war, Ukraine has achieved significant progress in these fields, aligning with trends observed in developed economies. However, the main challenge remains the insufficient level of business digitalization, driven by the need for substantial investments, the absence of a clear development strategy, and the lack of digital competencies in most enterprises.
Conclusions. Despite military challenges, digital technologies in Ukraine are developing at a rapid pace. The share of information and communication technologies (ICT) in the economy has increased from 2% in 2010 to 5% in 2023. During this period, the number of employees in the ICT sector grew by 56.8%, while the number of business entities increased by 424%. However, the industry’s potential is not being fully realized due to the lack of large-scale competitive computer hardware manufacturing, low levels of innovation activity among enterprises, businesses' focus on short-term profits, and competition for skilled IT professionals in the global market. Most Ukrainian specialists work as freelancers or in remote employment formats, which also affects the domestic labor market.
