Methods of Building a Motivation System in Service Sector Enterprises

The article examines the main aspects of developing and implementing motivation systems in service enterprises in Ukraine, emphasizing their diversity and the varied approaches, methods, and tools aimed at increasing labor productivity, meeting employee needs, and unlocking personnel potential. A systematic approach to creating motivational systems is considered, which includes the development of comprehensive programs that consider both material and non-material incentives. Within this framework, the use of bonus systems, awards, opportunities for professional development, and career growth is significantly importance. An effective tool that combines the principle of a comprehensive approach to building motivation systems is the creation and use of an Employee Value Proposition (EVP), which allows for the effective utilization of the enterprise’s labor potential and achieving maximum labor productivity by optimizing staff turnover. The main methods of building motivation systems in service enterprises, their advantages and disadvantages, as well as practical recommendations for their implementation at the level of other companies, considering the possibility of using them as universal methods to increase productivity and reduce staff turnover, are discussed. The most effective methods for increasing labor productivity and employee satisfaction are identified. It is summarized that to support the development of enterprises that today operate under conditions of full-scale war and suffer significant losses, functioning under conditions of staff shortages, it is necessary to solve a complex of tasks that play a significant role and are necessary for maximizing profit and effectively utilizing the labor resources of enterprises.
