The role of occupational pension insurance in ensuring the well-being of employees

In modern conditions, the importance of occupational pension insurance is becoming particularly relevant, since it is an important component of the social protection system of employees and has a direct impact on their well-being in the post-employment period. Occupational pension insurance ensures the stability of the financial situation of employees, especially in conditions of changes in state pension systems. The purpose of the article is to study the role of occupational pension insurance in ensuring the well-being of employees, in particular, to identify its content, specific features, as well as to substantiate the principles and forms of organization. In the process of research, methods of analysis and synthesis were used to determine the key aspects of occupational pension insurance, a comparison method to assess international experience and domestic practice, as well as a generalization method to substantiate the impact of occupational pension insurance on the well-being of employees. As a result of the research, the main components of occupational pension insurance were identified, including its content, specific features and principles of operation. It was found that occupational pension insurance is an important tool that allows employees to ensure a stable income in retirement, reducing dependence on state pension systems, which are often insufficient to maintain a comfortable standard of living. In the process of analyzing international experience, it was found that countries with developed occupational pension insurance systems have successful forms of it that combine mandatory and voluntary components, which ensures flexibility and accessibility for different categories of employees. The importance of integrating occupational pension insurance into the general system of social protection, which requires taking into account the specifics of the economic situation, needs and opportunities of different spheres and industries of labor, which will ensure financial stability and well-being of employees in the long term, has been established.
