The article considers digitalization as a key element of the organizational and economic mechanism of innovative development of agricultural enterprises in the face of modern challenges. Scientific approaches to digitalization, trends in its implementation in the agricultural sector of Ukraine and the world are analyzed, in particular, the use of precision agriculture technologies, Big Data, IoT, artificial intelligence and automated management systems. It is established that digital tools allow optimizing resource consumption, increasing productivity, reducing the impact of the human factor and contributing to the formation of sustainable business models. Practical recommendations are proposed for stimulating the digital transformation of the agricultural sector, including improving the regulatory framework, developing digital infrastructure, training personnel and expanding access to innovation financing. The results obtained can be used in the formation of state policy, developing programs to support the digitalization of agricultural enterprises and in management practice. The introduction of digital solutions will also contribute to the activation of innovative activity, reducing the environmental burden on the environment, improving the quality of agricultural products and integrating Ukrainian enterprises into global agro-technological value chains. Particular attention is paid to the role of digital platforms in the formation of new models of enterprise management, increasing the transparency of the agricultural market and strengthening trust between participants in the agricultural chain. The prospects for the development of smart farming, agro-ecosystems, cloud services and blockchain technologies as future drivers of the efficiency and sustainability of agricultural production are outlined. The emphasis is placed on the importance of cross-sectoral interaction between government bodies, business, research institutions and educational institutions as a prerequisite for implementing a holistic approach to the digital transformation of the agricultural sector. It is proven that in the long term, the digitalization of agro-industrial production is the strategic basis for the transition to sustainable, climate-resilient and socially inclusive agriculture.
