Abstract

The article analyzes the current state of scientific research in the field of risk management at transport enterprises, in particular, railway transport. It is noted that despite the existence of theoretical and applied developments, the issues of identification, classification and assessment of risks in transport processes still remain insufficiently covered. The article summarizes the approaches to consideration of environmental, financial and managerial risks, identifies their impact on the sustainability and efficiency of transport enterprises. The insufficient development of issues related to the integration of digital technologies into risk management processes is revealed, which complicates the prompt identification of threats and the formation of effective solutions in conditions of uncertainty. The purpose of the study is to identify areas for improving the risk management system at railway transport enterprises, taking into account the challenges of digital transformation. The research methods include analysis of scientific sources, the method of structural and logical generalization, a systematic approach, graphical risk modeling, and the method of expert assessments. The results of the study are aimed at deepening the theoretical foundations and substantiating the directions for improving the risk management system in the context of the digital transformation of the transport industry. The article also identifies a set of internal and external risks that are actualized in the context of the digitalization of the transport industry, and structures them taking into account the levels of occurrence and spheres of influence. A logical diagram of the relationships between digital changes, risks and management decisions is built. The necessity of introducing automated station management systems as a tool for reducing the risks associated with the human factor, irrational use of resources and transportation delays is substantiated. The directions of adaptation of the risk-oriented approach to the specifics of the functioning of railway transport enterprises in the context of uncertainty and digital transformation are proposed.
