Abstract

Effective financial performance management is a crucial condition for the sustainable operation and development of businesses. In this context, accounting and analytical support play a key role, as they provide managers with timely, relevant, and reliable information for making informed decisions. The role of accounting and analytical support has significantly increased in the modern economic environment, characterized by high levels of competition and uncertainty.

This article analyzes the impact of accounting and analytical support on improving financial performance management and identifies its key components and tools that facilitate effective managerial decision-making.

The research methods include analysing scientific literature, synthesising, and systematising the collected data.

The research findings underscore the necessity of integrating modern analytical tools with traditional accounting systems to generate comprehensive financial performance data. Methods such as predictive analytics and scenario modeling enable businesses to forecast trends, assess risks, and identify growth opportunities. Implementing automated accounting systems simplifies data processing, minimizes errors, and provides access to real-time financial information, thereby significantly enhancing the quality and speed of decision-making.

The study confirms that accounting and analytical support are the foundation for developing financial strategies, setting key performance indicators, and evaluating the implications of managerial decisions on financial outcomes. The use of such tools helps businesses maintain a balance between short-term profitability and long-term financial stability.

The conclusions emphasize that the role of accounting and analytical support extends beyond traditional accounting, transforming into a strategic financial management function. This system aligns financial objectives with organizational goals, enhances accountability, and ensures a proactive approach to financial resource management. Given the dynamic nature of the modern business environment, implementing innovative accounting and analytical practices is critical for achieving sustainable development and maintaining competitive advantages.
