Abstract

The article is devoted to the study and improvement of the methodological principles of monitoring and controlling in the management system of an agricultural enterprise. The aim of the study is to analyze, systematize, and improve the existing theoretical and methodological foundations for implementing monitoring and controlling systems, as well as to develop a methodology for their functioning.

The article examines the theoretical and methodological principles of monitoring and controlling processes at agro-industrial enterprises as a key element of modern management. The study highlights the main aspects of applying monitoring to ensure timely tracking of key performance indicators and controlling to develop strategic and tactical management decisions. It provides a description of the methodology for collecting, processing, and analyzing data, taking into account the specific characteristics of the agricultural sector, including seasonality, natural factors, and market conditions. The study substantiates the need to implement automated systems to improve the accuracy and speed of information processing, optimize production processes, and minimize risks. Principles of effective monitoring and controlling are identified, including systematicity, timeliness, objectivity, and flexibility, which are critical to ensuring the stability and competitiveness of enterprises.

The research identifies key performance indicators of agricultural enterprises that most accurately reflect their condition and development dynamics.
