Abstract

The automation of accounting and reporting processes is considered one of the key directions for improving enterprise management efficiency. The growth of financial information volumes, the need for its prompt analysis, and compliance with regulatory requirements create demand for specialized information systems. The BAS platform combines tools for accounting, tax, and management reporting in a unified environment, providing the foundation for generating reliable and timely reports that support informed decision-making. The purpose of this study is to characterize the potential applications of BAS-based software products in the field of accounting and reporting, and to assess their impact on the quality of financial and economic information used in enterprise management. The research methods include a systematic approach to analyzing the platform’s functional capabilities, comparison of traditional and automated accounting procedures, and generalization of the practical experience of enterprises that have implemented BAS solutions. It enabled the evaluation of automation effectiveness according to criteria such as reporting speed, error reduction, and data integration into the overall management system. The results confirm that the introduction of BAS contributes to optimizing accounting processes, improving the accuracy of financial calculations, and reducing the time required to prepare reports. It was revealed that integration of accounting subsystems ensures consistency of data across different areas of enterprise activity, minimizing the risk of duplication and information loss. The use of BAS also creates conditions for greater transparency of financial operations and facilitates adaptation of enterprises to changes in the regulatory framework. The conclusions suggest that automating accounting and reporting based on BAS not only simplifies routine processes but also creates prerequisites for strategic management. Systematized financial data improves the quality of analytical information used in planning and ensures better control over resources. The results can be applied in developing methodological approaches to the digitalization of financial management and in further studies of the impact of information systems on enterprise development.
