Abstract: In the context of the modern market environment, the success of enterprise functioning largely depends on the promptness and quality of management information. Businesses increasingly face the necessity to respond swiftly to market changes, intensifying competition, and demand fluctuations. The primary source of such information is management accounting, which encompasses data on commercial relations, logistics organization, use of production resources, and human capital. A wide range of functional capabilities of spreadsheet editors, in particular MS Excel and Google Sheets, in combination with external tools for data processing and analysis, creates the prerequisites for enterprises to obtain higher-quality and more up-to-date information on business operations, logistics processes, and transactions in the field of E-Commerce. The use of such instruments provides a foundation for strengthening the analytical support of management processes and ensures a higher level of substantiation in decision-making. The study of the effectiveness of spreadsheet editors in accounting, analytics, and business management makes it possible to determine their role in enhancing the competitiveness of enterprises as well as in strengthening their positions in a market integrated with digital channels of E-Commerce. Purpose. The purpose of the article is to assess the effectiveness of using MS Excel and Google Sheets spreadsheet editors in accounting, business economics, in particular, e-commerce, to determine their capabilities in the formation and use of management information, as well as to clarify the role of these tools in improving the quality of management decision-making. Methods. The article applies a set of scientific methods that enabled a comprehensive study of the effectiveness of MS Excel and Google Sheets in accounting and management analysis. Among them were: systems and structural analysis methods to define the components of the accounting-analytical system and their interrelations with accounting and management accounting; comparative analysis for benchmarking the capabilities of spreadsheet editors and specialized accounting programs; as well as methods of logical generalization and abstraction, which made it possible to formalize conclusions about the role of Excel and Google Sheets as universal tools for processing, analyzing, and transforming accounting information for managerial needs. Results. The study showed that MS Excel and Google Sheets allow enterprises, particularly in the field of e-commerce, to quickly obtain relevant management information: generate management reports in real time, including remotely under outsourcing conditions, forecast financial results under various scenarios, monitor the reliability of accounting data and identify deviations and anomalies. The use of these tools creates a two-way connection between analytical and regulated accounting and provides a basis for quick and informed management decision-making, resource optimization and increased efficiency of operations in e-commerce. Conclusions. MS Excel and Google Sheets are universal tools for integrating accounting and analytical information, which allows you to build complex accounting and analytical systems for an enterprise, in particular in the field of e-commerce The use of MS Excel and Google Sheets allows enterprises to overcome the limitations of regulated accounting, focused on standards and regulations, and provides more operational and relevant analysis for management. At the same time, these editors can serve as a tool for preparing data for accounting and financial reporting, creating a two-way relationship between analytical and regulated accounting. In addition, online versions of these spreadsheet editors open up the possibility of remote outsourcing of accounting and analytical processes, ensuring flexible, efficient and coordinated work regardless of the physical presence of users in the enterprise.
