Peculiarities of Documentary Display of Supply Operations of Distribution Enterprises

Abstract

Abstract: The article investigates the peculiarities of documentary display of supply operations in distribution enterprises, identifies the main problems of unification and integration of primary documents, and provides practical recommendations for improving the documentation process. The research employs methods of analysis, synthesis, induction, comparison, and a systematic approach. The methodological framework includes national accounting standards, international financial reporting standards, and scientific publications on supply chain management and documentation systems. It was revealed that the current documentation system of supply operations in distribution enterprises is fragmented and inconsistent, characterized by duplication of data, the coexistence of paper and electronic document flows, and insufficient integration of information within accounting systems. Based on the conducted analysis, a new primary document form – “Consolidated Supply Invoice” – was developed. This unified document combines the functions of the invoice, delivery note, receipt order, and acceptance report, allowing comprehensive reflection of supply transactions. The proposed document reduces the number of accounting forms, minimizes manual data entry errors, simplifies reconciliation with suppliers, and increases the transparency of business operations. The use of the consolidated supply invoice contributes to improving the efficiency of documentation, ensuring legal accuracy, and promoting digital transformation of accounting in distribution enterprises. The implementation of this document creates a basis for forming an integrated information system for supply management, enhancing financial discipline, operational efficiency, and competitiveness in modern business conditions.
