Abstract

In the digital economy, price functions not only as a financial indicator but also as a strategic instrument reflecting innovation, product value, and consumer loyalty. The integration of marketing research into pricing processes has become a key factor in enhancing business adaptability to market dynamics. The relevance of this topic is determined by the need to combine marketing analytics with financial planning into a unified system of strategic management capable of ensuring profit stability and sustainable enterprise development. The purpose of the study is to provide theoretical justification and develop practical foundations for integrating marketing research into the planning of business pricing processes to improve the efficiency of strategic enterprise management. The research applies methods of systemic and situational analysis – to identify interrelations between marketing and financial management elements; comparative analysis – to evaluate the results of different pricing approaches; and tabular-graphical methods – to generalize the stages of marketing research and their influence on business processes. Research results have shown that the effectiveness of pricing policy largely depends on the systematic use of marketing research outcomes. Four fundamental areas were identified – market analysis, consumer analysis, competitor analysis, and price sensitivity analysis – which together form the informational basis for well-grounded pricing decisions. A table illustrating the interrelation between stages of marketing research and business pricing processes was proposed, demonstrating the logical transition from analytical data collection to financial decision evaluation. An original model for integrating marketing and financial decisions was developed, based on the “planning – implementation – monitoring – adjustment” cycle, which ensures coherence between analytics, profitability, and consumer behavior. It was proven that such an approach creates the prerequisites for the transition of enterprises to the concept of smart pricing, which combines the principles of strategic marketing, digital analytics, and financial optimization.
