Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of the article is to identify and assess the reserves of profit growth of domestic enterprises in the alcoholic beverage industry through the optimization of financial levers. Research methods: to achieve the goal in the work based on a systematic approach, analytical, statistical methodological techniques and mathematical modeling methods were used. Research results: based on the consideration of the main features of operational, financial and combined leverage, it was proven that profit growth reserves should be disclosed through the integration of quantitative and qualitative methods that allow systematically assessing the potential for optimizing financial levers. In this regard, the essential characteristics of such quantitative methods as: CVP, DuPont, EOQ, LP; and qualitative methods: SWOT, resource approach are given. Based on a review of professional sources, financial reporting data of key companies, it is noted that at enterprises of the alcoholic beverage industry of Ukraine, reserves reach 15-25% of profit due to cost reduction, capital restructuring and adaptation to market challenges. Based on the analysis of financial leverage, a diagram of the main reserves for net profit growth is presented, which indicates operational improvements that affect operating profit, and measures to optimize the capital structure and tax planning. It is proven that simultaneous work in all areas allows for the maximum transformation of the increase in operating efficiency into an increase in net profit, which in general creates the basis for further strengthening the financial stability of the domestic enterprise. According to the results of a comparative review of the financial statements of a number of companies, it is noted that for large manufacturers the greatest potential for increasing profitability lies in optimizing operating costs, diversifying the product portfolio with an emphasis on the premium segment, which can provide additional revenue growth and increasing margins. For distribution companies, optimization of the capital structure and management of current assets is important, and for manufacturers with large debt, financial rehabilitation and optimization of the tax burden. Conclusion: the implementation of the identified reserves leads to a significant improvement in financial results and ensuring the stability of domestic companies in the current conditions of economic instability.
