Abstract

The article is devoted to the evaluation of the risk management system of LLC "SILPO-FOOD" and the determination of ways to improve its efficiency. The study reveals the essence of risk management as a set of interconnected elements that directly affect the strategic stability and adaptability of retail enterprises in conditions of macroeconomic instability and active digitalization. The author carried out a comprehensive assessment of the existing risk management system according to key criteria (identification, evaluation, minimization methods, monitoring, integration, digitalization, and flexibility). According to the results of the calculation of the average integral score (2.43), it was determined that the system is at an average level of development. Additionally, an analysis of the maturity level of the company's risk management was conducted, which confirmed its presence at a transitional stage between the basic (formalized) and integrated levels. It is substantiated that the main advantages of the analyzed system are a developed process of threat identification, diversification of suppliers and a high level of general digitalization of business processes. At the same time, significant structural limitations were revealed: the lack of a centralized risk register, insufficient use of quantitative mathematical evaluation models, fragmentation of measures, and a predominantly reactive rather than preventive nature of responding to threats. It is proved that the company's existing digital potential (CRM systems, automated logistics) is the basis for qualitative transformations. The priority areas for improving the system were determined, including: automation of monitoring in real time, integration of risk management into strategic planning, and transition to a proactive management model.
