In wartime, the issues of developing and implementing production management strategies become particularly relevant, which is due to the need to ensure the continuity of production processes, maintain economic stability, adapt enterprises to crisis conditions, minimize risks and losses, optimize resource provision and implement flexible management models. The purpose of the study is to prove the importance of developing and implementing production management strategies in wartime, conduct a comparative analysis of strategic approaches to managing production processes in peacetime and wartime, as well as identify and substantiate effective adaptive strategies that will contribute to maintaining stability, continuity and restoration of production in crisis situations. When conducting the study, a number of methods of scientific knowledge were used, including analysis and synthesis, abstraction and generalization, comparative and tabular, the application of which allowed the formation of scientifically sound recommendations on adaptive production management strategies. The study confirmed the critical need to develop and implement adaptive production strategies in wartime. A comparative analysis of strategies has shown that traditional production management models are ineffective in conditions of military operations, as they do not take into account the factors of high uncertainty, logistical constraints, destruction of infrastructure and mobilization of labor resources. In this regard, the formation and implementation of special strategies that would meet the challenges of war are justified: a strategy for diversification of production and adaptation to military needs; a strategy for decentralization of production capacities; a strategy for ensuring the continuity of supply chains; a strategy for optimizing personnel management; a strategy for financial stability and risk management; a strategy for implementing digital technologies; a strategy for developing international cooperation and export policy; a strategy for post-war recovery and long-term planning.
