Abstract

The purpose of the article is to substantiate the theoretical and applied principles of the influence of corporate management activities on the very security development of the nature use economy. The object of the study is corporate management practices in the field of nature use, and the subject is their economic, environmental and institutional consequences. The article identifies the essence and key determinants of corporate management activities that affect the development of the nature use economy. It is proven that corporate strategic decisions are critically important for achieving resource efficiency, reducing the carbon footprint and strengthening the economic security of the state. Four basic principles of the security development of the nature use economy are substantiated. It is proven that it is in the 21st century that the problem of environmental protection has become particularly acute. Climate change, land degradation, resource depletion, and biodiversity loss have become a serious threat not only to nature, but also to the economic stability of countries and the livelihoods of humanity in general. In this context, corporations, as powerful economic entities, play a key role in changing approaches to environmental management. They are able to influence the scale of resource use, introduce environmental innovations, change consumer patterns, and shape environmental awareness. It has been determined that the green transformation of the economy is impossible without the active participation of business, and therefore, without the transformation of management approaches. This involves changing the strategic vision of corporations: from the dominance of short-term profit goals to a long-term focus on environmental, social, and ethical responsibility. It has been proven that, in essence, corporations can be both a source of environmental threats and a driver of positive change, which creates a dual nature of their impact on the economy of environmental management.
