Abstract

Scientific and technological progress, innovative production technologies, increased global competition, and growing consumer demands for the safety, functionality, and environmental friendliness of manufactured products require improvement of the quality control system. Under modern conditions, traditional approaches to quality management system, which are primarily based on post-production control, are no longer sufficient to ensure the competitiveness and sustainability of enterprises. The widespread implementation of digitalization, automation, additive manufacturing, biotechnology, and the Internet of Things requires a significant revision of existing quality management models and the integration of intelligent, adaptive, and proactive systems capable of ensuring continuous monitoring and improvement of product quality at all stages of the production life cycle. The purpose of the article is to explore the theoretical and practical foundations of modernizing product quality management systems under the influence of innovative production technologies, to identify effective strategies and tools for improving quality management, and to substantiate approaches to the integration of digital solutions into these processes. Methods: analysis of scientific literature – to examine current developments on the topic; generalization and systematization – to present the research findings in a consistent, concise, and structured manner. The results of the research indicate that the introduction of innovative technologies into quality management systems significantly improves the efficiency of production processes, reduces the risks of defects, ensures greater transparency and traceability of goods, and contributes to the creation of added value based on quality. It has been established that the integration of artificial intelligence, blockchain, digital twins, and real-time automated management systems allows a shift from reactive to proactive quality management, where problem prevention becomes a priority over problem resolution. The conclusions emphasize that improving the product quality management system in the context of innovative production technologies is not only a technological challenge but also a strategic imperative that requires comprehensive changes in management philosophy, organizational behavior, and production practices. Successful implementation of modernization measures ensures not only the improvement of product quality indicators but also strengthens consumer trust, enhances economic efficiency, and strengthens the long-term competitiveness of enterprises in the face of global technological transformations.
