Logistization of business processes as a factor in shaping and enhancing the international competitiveness of enterprises

Abstract

Abstract. Purpose. The study aims to determine the role of business process logistization as a key factor in shaping and enhancing the international competitiveness of modern enterprises under the conditions of economic globalization. The purpose of the article is to substantiate the theoretical and methodological foundations of business process logistization and to develop practical recommendations for their optimization in order to strengthen the competitive positions of enterprises in international markets. Methods. The research employs a set of general scientific and special methods: a systemic approach – to identify the interrelationships between logistics processes and competitiveness; comparative analysis – to examine different approaches to logistization; structural-functional analysis – to study the structure of logistics systems; statistical analysis – to assess the efficiency of logistics solutions; and synthesis – to develop the conceptual foundations of business process logistization. Results. It has been established that business process logistization represents a comprehensive approach to managing material, informational, and financial flows in order to optimize costs, improve service quality, and ensure flexibility in responding to changes in the market environment. The key directions of logistization are identified as supply chain integration, digitalization of logistics processes, development of omnichannel logistics, and the implementation of the sustainable development concept. It is substantiated that effective logistization contributes to reducing operational costs by 15–25%, improving customer service levels by 20–30%, and increasing delivery speed by 35–40%. Conclusions. Business process logistization is a strategic tool for enhancing the international competitiveness of enterprises, as it ensures a synergistic effect from the optimization of all types of flows and creates sustainable competitive advantages in global markets.
