Abstract: The article examines the theoretical and methodological foundations of crisis management for trade enterprises under martial law conditions. The relevance of the study is determined by the need to adapt management approaches to the extreme conditions of business operations caused by russia's full-scale armed aggression against Ukraine. The key challenges facing trade enterprises during the period of armed aggression against Ukraine have been identified, including: disruption of supply chain logistics, critical instability of demand and purchasing power of the population, large-scale energy and infrastructure constraints, acute shortage of labor resources due to mobilization and migration, and significant increase in security risks for personnel and property. The approaches of domestic and foreign scholars to ensuring the stability of trade enterprises in crisis conditions have been summarized, and the experience of the trade sector's functioning in extreme situations has been analyzed. The necessity of forming an updated system of crisis management principles that corresponds to the specific challenges of martial law and takes into account the peculiarities of trading activities has been substantiated. Based on a comprehensive analysis of external and internal environmental factors affecting trade enterprises, an original classification of crisis management principles has been proposed according to the logic of ensuring adaptability, operational resilience, and business continuity of trade enterprises under conditions of military threats. Their substantive characteristics, interrelationships, and key role in building an effective management paradigm under conditions of military threats and uncertainty have been highlighted. The practical significance of the obtained results lies in the possibility of direct application of the proposed system of principles in the activities of retail and wholesale trade enterprises of various formats for systematic reduction of operational risks, increasing operational stability, and maintaining the economic resilience of the trade sector as a whole. Conclusions have been drawn regarding the prospects for adapting crisis management to the conditions of post-war recovery of Ukraine's economy and transformation of the trade sector. Keywords: crisis management, trade enterprises, martial law, economic resilience, adaptability, risks, managerial decisions.Downloads
